Children's Library. Create your own Alebrije-inspired art at the Hercules Library in celebration of Latinx Heritage month! Alebrijes are Mexican folk art sculptures depicting fantastical creatures or familiar animals. Traditionally made from copal wood or paper-mache, these sculptures feature vibrant colors and intricate patterns.
