About this event

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming the way we communicate, but it is also making scams and misinformation more convincing than ever. In this free interactive workshop, participants will learn how to identify AI-generated images, videos, and voice recordings. They will also understand the real-world impacts that AI-generated misinformation can have, and learn ways to mitigate its impacts In addition to AI-generated misinformation, this workshop will also cover broader digital literacy skills, including fact-checking, online scams, and more. Participants will learn how to identify reliable sources, search for the origin of a claim, judge the quality of an article or post, and be equipped to navigate the online world. The presentation is designed to be easy to understand, engaging, and appropriate for community members with little or no technical background. ADA Accommodation Requests
