AI Fundamentals

Children's Activity Room. Curious about AI but not sure where to start? Join Trevor Bailey for a beginner-friendly introduction to popular AI tools, useful prompts, and practical ways to use AI in everyday life. Through demonstrations and optional guided practice, we’ll explore what AI can do, where it makes mistakes, and how to use it responsibly. In the “Teach Us Something” activity, participants can use AI to explain a topic they enjoy, adapt it for a particular audience, and check its claims. Leave with useful prompting techniques and a better understanding of where your own judgment matters. No prior AI experience is needed. Bring a laptop or tablet if you’d like to follow along, but neither is required.
