1st Floor Community Meeting Room. A positive, practical session for men and women who want to stay healthy, strong, and independent as they age. Dr. Teresa Pangan explains how nutrition and everyday lifestyle habits can influence the major chronic diseases that affect healthspan and longevity—and why many of these conditions share common underlying processes, including chronic inflammation and oxidative stress. Attendees will learn the foundational habits that support healthy aging: Including eating patterns that emphasize protein, Fiber, and nutrient-rich foods; Maintaining muscle and mobility; Getting restorative sleep; Managing stress Staying physically active. The focus will be on understanding how these pieces work together rather than chasing the latest diet or health trend. Attendees will leave with practical tools they can use to build their own healthy-aging foundation, including a lifestyle habits guide and a personal health tracker for following important lab values, supplements, and health goals over time.
