Join us next Thursday, August 27, in the main gallery at 215 N. Limestone for performances by Age of Peace and Idiot Glee. The Lexington born, Cincinnati-based band, Age of Peace will return to Lexington for the last stop of their August tour promoting their recent album Ode To Life. Released in April of this year, Ode To Life is born unto the world as the debut LP from Age of Peace, the youngest love child of Angie Willcutt and Micah Wu (members of Artificial Go and ROD). Willcutt’s playful, yet transcendental lyrics dance freely over Wu’s explorative compositions, driven by the hypnotic pulse of their mallet stricken drum. Their songs, bound to tape, command self documented messages pertaining to life and death, sharing the whisper of time. Tickets for the show will be available and sold at the door for $10.
