Afterschool STEM: Pumpkin Jack Experiment

Children's Learning Center / Outside. Join us for a spooky science experiment and craft! We’ll talk about the life cycle of a pumpkin, then carve some Jack-o-Lanterns with kid-safe carving tools! Then, we’ll seal up a Jack-o-Lantern in a jar so we can watch it for the next year. We’ll see it decompose and then grow! All materials will be provided. Wear appropriate outdoor clothing with comfortable walking shoes. Intended for kids ages 5-12. This program presented by Library Staff.
