Afterschool Art | Creation Station & Mini Makers (Age 2-11)

Join Spiva Center for the Arts on Tuesday afternoons for two afterschool art programs, Mini Makers and Creation Station! Creation Station is a fun and welcoming art program designed for elementary-aged students to explore their creativity through hands-on projects. Each week features a new theme and medium—ranging from painting and drawing to sculpture, printmaking, and mixed media. Students receive step-by-step guidance while being encouraged to make choices that personalize their artwork, helping them build skills, confidence, and creative problem-solving. Mini Makers is a playful, hands-on art class designed especially for young artists. Each session introduces a new theme with age-appropriate activities that encourage exploration, creativity, and confidence-building in a supportive environment. Mini Makers is a parent-led class. This means parents are expected to stay in the classroom during the program to work with their young artists. Registration required; register online at spivaarts.org. Cost: $8.
