About this event
October is a great time for fall riding, and this month we will be traveling to Acoma Pueblo. Following the meeting, we will have a pre-ride briefing at 9:45 AM with KSU promptly at 10:00 AM. We will ride to the Acoma Pueblo Visitor Center, using side roads as much as possible. After attending the guided Pueblo tour, we have been given permission to ride through the Reservation and stop for photographs of the beautiful scenery. We will then return to the Casino for lunch at approximately 12:30–1:00 PM. Our return trip home will follow the same route. Admission to the museum is free. Guided tour pricing is $25.00 for adults and $22.00 for seniors and military. We must arrive by 12:00 PM in order to participate in the tour. If we depart promptly at 10:00 AM, our timing should work out perfectly. All riders should arrive early and be completely prepared for departure. This includes a full tank of gas, an empty bladder. Motorcycles and riding equipment should be in good working order and capable of safely maintaining the posted speed limit.
