Minton Sparks fuses an intoxicating gift for storytelling with wildly original poetry in performances that paint vivid images of being raised in and around the rural South. Her signature blend of spoken word and music has taken her from the venerable Old Town School of Folk Music to Lincoln Center and the Grand Ole Opry. Her performances are accompanied by acclaimed guitarist John Jackson, best known for his work with Bob Dylan.
