AFSP Greater Philadelphia Walk (Suicide Prevention)

About this event

The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) is hosting a walk in Philadelphia to support suicide prevention and mental health awareness. Suicide is one of the leading causes of death in the United States, and organizations like AFSP help fund research, advocacy efforts, survivor support, and educational programs in schools, workplaces, and communities across Pennsylvania. The event will start at **The Navy Yard - Marine Parade Grounds** in **Philadelphia, PA**. Check-in starts at **9:00am**, but I plan to get there around **10:00am**. We'll have **30 min** to gather before the event starts at **10:30am**. There will be opening ceremony before the walk begins, along with opportunities to meet other participants, visit information tables, and support the cause as a community. After the walk, people are welcome to stay and socialize before heading home. If you'd like to join us, you can register using the page below and select "Register Now!" I set an initial fundraising goal of $250, and we can raise it higher if more people donate and join our team.
