The Africa Lecture series at Old Town Library is back this Fall! Please join us for this series of three talks that will explore the vibrant continent of Africa through the work and research of Colorado State University faculty. Dr. Steve Leisz, Dr. Caridad Souza, and Dr. Cynthia Brown will dive into topics ranging from forestry, farming, and food systems, to healing justice, art practice, The Peace Corps in Africa and more! Dr. Steve Leisz will share about his incredible and diverse work and experiences in Senegal, The Gambia, and Madagascar serving in the Peace Corps, working for the Food Systems Initiative and the Winrock International Farming Seed System Program, and working on a project with the U of Wisconsin-Madison Land Center in Madagascar. Please join us on Tuesday September 29th, Tuesday October 27th, and Thursday November 19th, for an amazing presentation and discussion that will highlight fascinating features of a diverse and dynamic continent!
