The Africa Lecture series at Old Town Library is back this Fall! Please join us for this series of three talks that will explore the vibrant continent of Africa through the work and research of Colorado State University faculty. Dr. Steve Leisz, Dr. Caridad Souza, and Dr. Cynthia Brown will dive into topics ranging from forestry, farming, and food systems, to healing justice, art practice, The Peace Corps in Africa and more! Dr. Caridad Souza will share about her working in Ghana utilizing arts-based practices in healing justice work. This presentation will include interactive and collaborative components to engage those who'd like to participate.
