About this event

Join Harold Washington Library Center for a discussion of Drive your Plow Over the Bones of the Dead by Olga Tokarczuk. "In a remote Polish village, Janina devotes the dark winter days to studying astrology, translating the poetry of William Blake, and taking care of the summer homes of wealthy Warsaw residents. In Translation Book Club meets monthly on the 3rd or 4th Saturday of each month, holidays permitting. All selections are books that have been translated to English from another language. Copies of this month's title will be available at the Popular Library reference desk starting September 18th.
