ACUA Free Hazardous Household Materials Drop-off

Hammonton residents can safely dispose of hazardous household materials at ACUA’s FREE drop-off events scheduled throughout the year. This is your opportunity to safely dispose of rechargeable batteries, vape pens, motor oil, fluorescent light bulbs, oil-based paint, and more. 2026 Dates: Saturday, March 14 Saturday, May 30 Saturday, July 11 Saturday, September 12 Saturday, November 14 The drop-off events are held at ACUA’s Environmental Park 6700 Delilah Road, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the scheduled Saturdays. To learn more and prepare for your visit, go to acua.com/hhw. Prepare For Your Visit: Proof of residency is required – driver’s license, tax bill, etc. Please bring your items in a throwaway or recyclable container (such as a cardboard box). Containers will not be returned. No exceptions. You will not have to exit your vehicle. Individual container sizes cannot exceed 5 gallons – no exceptions. The maximum quantity of household hazardous waste is 20 gallons and/or 200 lbs. dry weight per household per person. NO materials from commercial establishments.
