Accessible Adventure (at ODC)

About this event

Discover nature using your senses at this family-friendly, open-house event for all ages! Explore a variety of interactive stations including animal encounters, nature observation, sounds, scents, and creative habitat-building activities. Participants are invited to move at their own pace and engage in the ways that work best for them – there is no required participation at any station. Designed with accessibility in mind, Accessible Adventure includes multiple ways to experience nature, designated quiet spaces, accessible pathways, seating options, single-stall bathroom options, and supportive staff throughout the event. Come explore, learn, and connect with nature in ways that are meaningful to you. Plan to start stations no later than 6:15pm. Please bring a water bottle, and snacks if desired.
