Accessibility: Earn Your Accessibility Certificate in a Day Presented by: Samantha Wadsworth, ADA Investigator/Faculty Advisor for DSS Description: Interested in earning your Accessibility Certification? Earn your Accessibility Certification in just one day. Join us for our new comprehensive workshop that explores the why, who, and how of disability services for students in higher education. This training will provide faculty and staff with a more in-depth understanding of the legal obligations associated with their role, as well as tools and resources to create best practices to ensure equal access for students with disabilities. Please Note: This workshop is designed for current UAB teaching faculty, instructors of record, academic advisors, and other student-facing staff members. Graduate students and postdoctoral scholars are invited to attend the CTL LIFT series workshops instead. Total CTL Point Value: 100,000 pts.
