About this event
The assessment will cover basic studio workflows, including: setting up microphones, signal routing, cue systems and setting up and saving a recording session using Pro Tools. ASSESSMENT REGISTRATION REQUIREMENT: To register for this assessment, cardholders must attend the General Orientation for the Melrose Center, the Audio Studio Orientation, and must be at least 18 years of age. Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult (18+ years of age). Required Skills: Introductory knowledge of the Pro Tools environment, signal flow and effects processing. Experience with microphones, signal routing and cue systems. Recommended Prerequisites: Fundamentals of Sound for Audio Engineering, Pro Tools Levels 1 and 2, Microphone Theory Levels 1 and 2, Studio Signal Routing. You must be present at the scheduled start time to be admitted. You may only register for one Access Assessment - Audio Studio at a time. Recommended Audience: Adult.
