The Count Basie Orchestra Directed by Scotty Barnhart Guest Vocalist Carmen Bradford Celebrate the holiday season with the legendary Count Basie Orchestra in A Very Swingin' Basie Christmas. Enjoy an evening of classic holiday songs, rendered in quintessential Basie style, under the masterful direction of longtime Basie trumpeter Scotty Barnhart with guest vocalist Carmen Bradford. The Grammy-winning ensemble brings Christmas classics to the stage, including "Let It Snow," "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas," and "Silent Night." A night of warm jazz, cozy songs, and Christmas cheer. The Count Basie Orchestra mark appears under license from Rutgers University Institute of Jazz Studies. Please note: the San Diego Symphony Orchestra does not appear on this Jacobs Music Center Special Presentation.
