A Very Laufey Walk

The 4th annual ‘A Very Laufey Day’ takes place this Sunday August 23rd. Join me and let’s wobble around the Woodstock neighborhood for a couple hours while we celebrate the day! Wait, who is Laufey?! Laufey is an Icelandic singer/songwriter and every year she dedicates one day to celebrating the arts: literary, musical, visual plus enjoying the natural world while walking around with friends. Plus, ice cream! We will visit the Woodstock Library, check out the music at the Market, stroll around the neighborhood to see the park, find some hidden gems and get some ice cream along the way. Cloud City Ice Cream is partnering with AVLD and will have special flavors available this Sunday only. I will be playing the Very Laufey Playlist on my portable speaker, but you are welcome to listen on your own devices if you prefer. Not a fitness walk; we will be walking at a casual pace, will be approximately 2 hours depending on the ice cream situation.
