Join the Center for Teaching and Learning and the UNA Restorative Justice Lab for a workshop series around the book “A Pedagogy of Kindness” by Catherine J. Denial. Facilitated by Dr. Katie Owens-Murphy and Ms. Mary Beth Willis, we will explore kindness as a key component of course design. Workshop 1 will take place on September 23, 2026 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm at 541 W. College Street. We will cover the following topics: 1. Kindness Toward the Self 2. Imposter Syndrome and Self-doubt 3.
