Double Room (114 115). Christmas wasn't always merry. It used to be haunted! For most of the 1800s, the traditional Christmas Eve entertainment in England wasn’t caroling; it was ghost stories. A Haunted Christmas brings back the forgotten Victorian tradition of telling ghost stories at Christmas — Dickens, M.R. James, and the legend of the Krampus — told with magic. Ages 12 and up. Registration required. The Irondequoit Public Library is committed to creating inclusive and accessible events.
