FREE CONCERT with our very own George S. playing trumpet! Come early to enjoy this fantastic event! This special concert features iconic compositions reflecting the nation’s triumphs, struggles, and enduring spirit. The program opens with John Williams’ Liberty Fanfare, setting the tone for an afternoon of reflection and celebration, followed by his energetic and adventurous Cowboys Overture and the quintessential Americana themes of Aaron Copland’s A Copland Portrait. Following intermission, the band honors America’s resilience with Ron Nelson’s Rocky Point Holiday, John Philip Sousa’s Liberty Bell March, and Jerry Bilik’s American Civil War Fantasy, evoking the struggles and triumphs of a defining era. The program continues with Robert Russell Bennett’s Victory at Sea and Stephen Melillo’s America the Brave, culminating in a rousing encore of Sousa’s Stars & Stripes Forever.
