The Ponderosa (affectionaly known as "The Pondo") is one of Portland’s best country venues, tucked inside a truck stop, which somehow just adds to the charm. I’ve been there a number of times and it’s always been a great experience—super chill, friendly vibe. It’s not a gay bar and doesn’t have specific gay nights, but it’s very welcoming and easygoing.
