Based on the 1980 movie, the story follows Violet, Judy and Doralee, 3 fed-up coworkers in 1979. Constantly irritated by their boss, Franklin Hart, and his egotistical, sexist remarks and treatment, they decide to take things into their own hands by kidnapping him and making changes to their office world. As they implement the changes, the women begin to fight for equality in the workplace.
