Adults ages 17 and older are invited to learn the fundamentals of wheel-thrown pottery during this multi-session course at Still Point. Designed for beginners and those looking to strengthen their skills, the course covers foundational pottery techniques, including wheel throwing, trimming and glazing, in a supportive studio environment. As participants gain experience, additional techniques such as creating handles and lids may be introduced. Registration includes access to studio tools, glazes, three balls of clay for each throwing session and glaze firing for up to 12 finished pieces. Guests are welcome to bring their own beverages in a sealed container.
