About this event
The funds raised through this event will support student scholarships and grants for local youth organizations, which have included the I Can Read program, Diaper Bank of Southern Illinois, Scouting America, SIU Dental Hygiene Give Kids a Smile, Hopewell MB Church Backpack program, Future Business Leaders of America, Carbondale Jr. Sports, Camp Beta, CASA of Southern Illinois, and many more. Combined with our other fundraising, the Rotary Club of Carbondale awards between $10,000-$13,000 in grants annually to local youth organizations. This year, our fundraising goal for the Pickleball event is to exceed $5000 in honor of our Fifth Anniversary! We are requesting assistance through sponsorships for this event. There are three sponsorship levels which are listed below along with the benefits for each. Players are assigned onsite and play a "round robin" with prizes given for points and a team winner at the end.
