Special Hours for Trunk or Treat 4 Points of Light Exhibition

EAC Gallery features 4 Points of Light Exhibition Please Note: Special hours for Today only are 1:00-3:00 p.m. during Trunk or Treat on Main Street. Four Artists. Four Visions. Evansville Arts Coalition is pleased to welcome works by 4 Points of Light to the EAC Gallery in October. Four Points of Light brings together four neighboring artists whose studios are only minutes apart, yet whose creative voices are distinctly their own. Working across contemporary abstraction, expressionism, mixed media, photography, impressionism, and landscape, each artist approaches the world through a different lens. What connects them is a shared passion for creativity, self-expression, and the belief that art has the ability to bring light into the world. Throughout the exhibition, light takes on many meanings. It can be found in color and landscape, in texture and form, in resilience and humanity, and in the unexpected beauty of the everyday. Each artist offers a different interpretation, inviting viewers to experience not one shared vision, but four individual perspectives brought together in conversation. Calvin deRuyter explores the relationship between man-made shapes and structures and organic forms through mixed water-media and abstraction.
