2hr Sensual Bachata Workshop & Social w/Rome & Amy @The Dance Factory Tampa Bay!

This two-hour Sensual Bachata workshop is designed for dancers who want to move with more intention, depth, and expression. Rather than focusing on patterns, we’ll focus on how it feels to dance, developing awareness, control, and presence so every movement has purpose. Through guided exercises and partner work, you’ll learn how to create dances that are smooth and connected. First we will focus on building genuine partner connection through clarity, trust, and body awareness. You’ll learn how to communicate intention through frame, timing, and subtle movement, creating a grounded and comfortable dance that feels effortless for both partners. The goal is to move together with presence, sensitivity, and confidence, turning each dance into a shared experience rather than a sequence of steps. We’ll then get into musicality by learning how to listen to the music beyond the beat and translate its accents, pauses, and textures into movement. You’ll explore how to match energy, flow, and expression to the song, allowing the music to shape your choices and elevate your sensual bachata into a smooth, expressive, and emotionally connected dance.
