# #210 Basic Editing using Adobe Lightroom Classic – A Six week class starting Monday September 14, 2026 10:30AM-2:00PM $360 # Lightroom has become the standard in image management software, boosting your creativity by saving time and effort. During this six-week class, students will learn to download, sort, and edit their images with speed and ease using Adobe Camera RAW (ACR). ACR gives the photographer the tools to make your images lighter, darker and the correct color that you desire. Learn to crop the image and output to the size of print or output to the resolution needed for social media on the web. Learn to fix dust spots on your sensor or remove distracting objects in your image. Learn about the difference between a file, a catalog, a folder, a sub folder and a collection. They are all different. Learn about how to set up your file structure, backup files and how and where to store your images safely. Learn about "Work Flow" not work slow. We will also spend time using the NIK and Portrait Professional plug-ins for Lightroom to further enhance our images. Lightroom is built to be fast, intuitive, and a pleasure to use. It is a powerful tool for your digital photography tasks, whether you’re adjusting one image, searching for ten, processing hundreds, or organizing thousands. Experiment fearlessly with non-destructive editing tools that help you create incredible images. Showcase your work elegantly in print layouts, slide shows, and web galleries. We will teach you to use Adobe Lightroom as your digital darkroom and digital assistant as one complete package. This class has been likened to a magician revealing their secrets of magic tricks behind the scenes. One-Day Weekend offerings (#209) run from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The six week long weekday offerings (#210) start at 10:30AM to 2:00 PM. The six-week week-night offerings (#210) run from 6:30PM to 10:00PM.
