20s/30s Ragged Mountain hike

The loop on the Metacomet Trail (approx. 2.54 miles) and the Blue/Red blazed trail (approx. 3.1 miles) passes a variety of viewpoints. The trailhead elevation starts at approximately 250-275 feet and the summit is 761 feet, a difference of about 500 feet. New people are always welcome! Registration is required. Any final notes and weather cancellations will be emailed to registered participants 1-3 days before. Would like to bring a well-behaved dog? Prefer there not to be a dog on the hike for any reason? Please coordinate with the leader in advance. The hike end time is just an estimate. **What to bring** Footwear, water, and snacks for 6 miles of hiking in the woods / up to 4 hours Bug spray / sunscreen as needed **Directions** Coordinates [41.6283,-72.8038](https://maps.app.goo.gl/VNNqSodVN6GaPjk86). We will start at the main Ragged Mountain trailhead on West Ln where it becomes Wigwam Rd in the town of Berlin.
