Where do you hope travel takes you in 2027? For our first Travel Lounge meetup of the new year, bring one trip, place, route, experience, or travel idea you’re thinking about for 2027. It can be realistic, ambitious, simple, local, international, outdoorsy, food-focused, cultural, expensive, budget-friendly, half-planned, or still just a little idea in the back of your mind. Maybe you already have flights booked. Maybe you’re trying to choose between a few possibilities. Maybe there’s a place you keep saving on Google Maps. Maybe you just know you want the year to include more exploring, but you’re not sure what that looks like yet. The point is not to impress anyone with the biggest trip. The better question is: What kind of travel year do you want to have? Do you want rest? Adventure? Beauty? Better food? More confidence traveling alone? A return to somewhere familiar? A first trip somewhere you’ve always wondered about? A better way to make travel fit into ordinary life? We’ll keep it relaxed and conversational. Everyone who wants to share will have a chance to talk about one 2027 travel idea, and the group can help brainstorm possibilities, tips, timing, or next steps. No presentation needed. No travel expertise required. Just bring one place or travel idea you’d like to think about for the year ahead.
