2026 Puppy Paw-looza

Kickoff event to our Downtown dog friendly initiative. A community-favorite celebration of furry friends, featuring pet-friendly vendors, community education organizations, a DJ emcee, live demonstrations, animal rescues and adoption opportunities, pet contests, a free rabies vaccine clinic, and photo ops. Thousands of pet lovers visit Downtown Somerville for a day of fun, shopping, and outdoor dining with their four-legged companions. 12:00pm | Event Kickoff 12:00pm – Welcome by Emcee DJ Rob (Puppy Paw-looza stage) 12:45-1:00pm – Somerville K9 Officer Marco and Somerset Patriots Mascot Sparkee lead the Puppy Parade across stage (Line up starting at 12:25pm at clock tower on East Main St & Bridge St) Distribution of bandanas & dog bone bag dispenser giveaways.
