2026 IL Burbs Book Crawl

IL Burbs Book Crawl Sunday, November 22, 2026 THIS EVENT IS FREE AND REQUIRES NO REGISTRATION! Get ready for a day of books, local discoveries, and supporting small businesses at the IL Burbs Book Crawl! Join fellow book lovers as you explore participating bookstores throughout the Illinois suburbs, discover new favorites, meet local booksellers, and celebrate the amazing independent bookshops that make our communities special. With 27 participating bookstores, there are plenty of places to explore, books to discover, and stamps to collect! How It Works Grab Your Passport Pick up a physical passport at your first participating bookstore, or download and print one ahead of time from the Three Stories Bookstore & More website. Passports will also be available through participating local bookstores and on our IL Burbs Book Crawl Facebook event & group pages once released. Visit Participating Bookstores Explore any of our 27 participating bookstores! Each shop will have its own hours, so be sure to check before visiting. We did our best to keep locations close together, but with so many wonderful bookstores joining the fun, some stops may require a little extra driving. Make a day of it and enjoy the adventure! Collect Your Stamps At each bookstore, ask the staff to stamp or initial your passport. Please note that some stores may require a small purchase to receive a stamp, while others will offer stamps for free. Check with each shop for its specific requirements. Earn Book Crawl Prizes! The more bookstores you visit, the more fun rewards you can earn! • Visit 7 bookstores: Receive a free IL Burbs Book Crawl canvas bag, available only at participating main bookstores featured in our event logo. • Visit 10–15 bookstores: Earn a special canvas bag featuring goodies representing the 17 bookstores featured in our logo, such as stickers, bookmarks, and other fun surprises! Prize availability and redemption details will be shared as the event…
