2026 CIS Christmas Party

After an absence in 2025, the Central Indiana Scuba Christmas Party is back! This year's party is being held at the 1925 Pubhouse at Grandview in Anderson, IN. This is an excellent restaurant with great food, great service, a casual dress code, and room to move around. Here is what Trip Advisor has to say: "If you are driving through Anderson or looking for a restaurant worth building the night around, this is it. Best Sit Down Restaurant. Best Place to Take a Date. Whether you are a golfer, a local regular, or a traveler passing through on 32, this is the Anderson table that earns every return visit." The full restaurant and bar menus will be available, with attendees responsible for their own bills. Besides a great meal, we are having a Chinese Gift Exchange (aka "Dirty Santa") for the divers (gifts provided by CIS), a raffle for a fine dining gift card, a look back at the "inaugural" 2026 dive season, and a sneak peek at our plans for 2027 (which include a major warm-water dive trip). This event is open to divers and their spouses/significant others. Members' children are also welcome (after all, isn't Christmas all about family?). Be advised, however, that rowdy kids will be given a Red Bull and a set of cymbals before being sent home with their parents :-) Please RSVP with your total number of attendees by Monday, November 23 so we can give an accurate head count to the restaurant. Hope to see you all at 6:30 PM on December 8!
