2 Hour Workshop - Stage Presence

STAGE PRESENCE It's your moment! You're about to play that solo you've worked on all season and you're just... standing there? Come on down to our stage presence workshop! We'll draw influence from the finest rock groups to discover what makes you move and groove on stage. There's a big difference between playing versus performing! The ultimate freedom of expression is knocking at your door... Are you ready to answer? What to Expect: Students will take turns on an instrument of their choice, playing a song and then PERFORMING a song. You'll receive personalized feedback on how to refine your performance and suggestions on how to improve your stage presence. While we understand that just being onstage can be a challenge, having the proper tools to build confidence will make you feel much more comfortable! Workshop Discussion Points: • History of Stage Presence • Learn from the Masters (influence from iconic groups and artists) • Individual Performances • Performance Review • Stage Ettiquette Workshop takes place March 10th, 2027 1:00pm - 3:00pm Ages 10-18+ PARKING / DROP OFF Please bring your child inside rather than dropping them off at the street. A parent or guardian must be present to pick up each student. We are unable to let students leave the building on their own at any time, or to meet you on the street. LOCATION Our address is 14765 S Dixie Hwy Miami, FL 33176. We are located right off US1 and 147th in the Publix shopping center. CANCELLATION POLICY Cancellations up to 45 days prior to the start of camp will receive a 50% refund. No refunds are provided for cancellations less than 30 days prior to the workshop. In the event that School of Rock must cancel a workshop for any reason (such as not enough students enrolled), a full refund will be provided.
