2 classic mystery / comedy films + a great Chinese buffet dinner!

Please join us on **Thursday, October 1st,** for a special evening of great food and entertainment. You'll see a pair of classic mystery / comedy programs. Up first (**at 6:00 PM**) we'll show an episode of the highly underrated TV crime / comedy program, **BURKE'S LAW**, which starred Gene Barry as a millionaire detective. This witty and entertaining series was known for having numerous famous guest stars in each episode. Next Up (at approximately **7:15 PM**) is the 1949 RKO noir / crime film, **THE BIG STEAL**, which starred Robert Mitchum, Jane Greer, William Bendix, Patric Knowles and Ramon Novarro. The film was directed by Don Siegel. When an Army lieutenant (Mitchum) is accused of a payroll robbery, in order to prove his innocence, he pursues the real thief through Mexico. He's joined in his quest by a woman (Greer) who has been scammed by the same thief -- who happens to be her fiance. While the pair are chasing the crook, they are being pursued by an Army MP (Bendix), who's hot on their trail. The restaurant is called; the **CITY BUFFET**. There is a private room at the back of the restaurant, so we won't be disturbed by other diners. We will have short breaks throughout the evening, so attendees can restock their plates. The restaurant is located at: 100 Live Oaks Blvd Casselberry, FL 32707….. near the intersection of 436 and 17-92. In addition to the films and food, there may be other surprises, including trivia contests and free prizes. There is no charge for the movies, you just pay for your dinner. I hope you can make it!
