11/19 Fall Foliage Walk

Join NYC Parks and The Forest Park Trust on a fall foliage walk! Learn about the trees that give life to the largest continuous oak-hickory forest in Queens. We’ll identify some common trees, learn why they’re important to protect, and how you can join upcoming restoration work in Forest Park. Thank you to the NYS DEC’s community reforestation grant for making this event possible. Advance registration is required with the link here. No tools or prior experience is needed. Just bring your enthusiasm. Please come dressed in sturdy, closed-toe shoes, long pants and bring your own water bottle. Meeting at Buddy Monument
