About this event

Least of These: An Archie Drexel Mystery #4 When a megachurch on the outskirts of Winddale ignores the “thou shalt not kill” commandment, the guys are thrust into a world where nothing and nobody are as they appear on the surface. Add in a meddling state senator, three pastors all named Phil, tampered autopsies, and a rogue motorcycle, and this double murder will take more than just “thoughts and prayers” to solve. Virtually Any Man: An Archie Drexel Mystery #3 “Work is literally killing me!” In Archie’s case, the saying hits too close to home after a return-to-office order ruins the comfort of working remotely and puts him in the thick of his two least favorite things: cubicles and other humans. While Xander is busy fan-boying over a work-hating poet, one of Archie’s coworkers is murdered during a late night at the office. Now Archie, Ted, and Xander must battle their own workplace pasts, inner demons, and imposter syndrome to figure out who’s a murderer versus who is just generally dislikeable. The Archie Drexel Mystery series will have you turning pages to see what comes next, all while wondering if Warren Haddock has been spying on you and your “normal, every-day” life for inspiration. These new releases follow previous stories, Life After Death and Source of Truth, featuring Archie Drexel, a freshly minted widower. As he ponders his new uncertainty, the last thing he expects is to become part of a suburbanite “murder club.” Warren Haddock was raised in the Des Moines metro and still chooses to live there with his wife and two dogs. He has written business books under his alter ego as well as worked in the IT arena most of his career (surviving it with his sanity and sense of humor intact). Since he’s not allowed to kill people in real life, he’s chosen to bump them off in his Archie Drexel mystery novels.
