Basin Spring Park stages free live music downtown through the warm months, and the town's famously eclectic spirit fills the calendar with everything from blues weekends to art walks. Opera in the Ozarks performs each summer just outside town, while The Great Passion Play runs its long-standing outdoor drama season. Few towns of 2,000 people anywhere stage this much.
