Vertical World Thursdays

We are a group of enthusiastic, beginner friendly climbers meeting at the Seattle Vertical World every Thursday evening. "But I've never climbed before. Can I join?" Absolutely! All levels of experience are welcome. If you are new to the sport wear comfortable clothing (think yoga). More experienced members would be happy to share some pointers to help you get started, including the knots used to tie into the top rope. Please note due to liability considerations only gym-approved instructors are permitted to give belay instruction. HOW TO FIND US: We usually meet at the bench by the bathrooms at 6:30pm. Also, if members post a description of what they are wearing, that'll help others find us. Identifying yourself as a meetup member can also help others find us. TIME: The event is scheduled for 6:30-8:30pm but feel free to come early and stay longer. Feel free to message the organizer with any needs or questions.
