The Japanese Table Time: 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Cost: Free Hosted by: The Language Table Join us for The Japanese Table, a free and welcoming conversation table for Japanese learners, fluent speakers, native speakers, and anyone curious about practicing Japanese in the community. The Language Table Portland is a nonprofit dedicated to providing free and accessible language-learning opportunities for the greater Portland community. Our goal is to build a vibrant multilingual community that celebrates cultural differences, strengthens mutual understanding, and helps make Portland and Maine more welcoming places to live. This is a relaxed conversation space where people can practice, listen, ask questions, share culture, and meet others through language. All levels are welcome, from beginners working through their first sentences to fluent speakers who want to keep the conversation alive. Come ready to chat, help others, learn something new, and enjoy the evening. We’ll gather around and let the conversation move naturally, one sentence at a time.
