Writing in person - we’ve discovered - is focused, productive, and energizing. All writers and all experience levels are welcome! Be it a book, blog, script, essay, dissertation, resume, melody, poem or just plain work stuff, you are invited to write with us. No one will see what you've written or give unsolicited advice. 6:30 - 8:00 pm, Wednesday Evenings 6:30 - Arrive, settle in *We will plan to meet at a large table in the back dining room, and there will be a Shut Up & Write sign on the table. The back room is accessible by stairs or ramp.* 6:45 - Quick introductions 7:00 - Timer starts: write for 1 hour 8:00 - End. Recap. Share (optional). OPTIONAL SOCIALIZING happens until 9 pm. BEING LATE IS OKAY: just show up and get settled, then check-in after the session. What Should I Bring? Whatever you need to be able to write! Bring earbuds/earplugs if you want to block the cafe’s overhead music or the occasional conversation by other patrons. Other Important Details: Peloton Cafe has WiFi, and there are a few electrical outlets. Parking is on the street. The 3/4 bus line runs right by the cafe.
