Salem Poetry Project Featuring Eleanor Berry

Eleanor Berry has served as president of the Oregon Poetry Association and the National Federation of State Poetry Societies. The poems of her latest collection, Not Just Us (Finishing Line Press, 2026), reflect on her encounters and relationships with non-human fellow animals. Her Works of Wildfire won the 2022 Grayson Books Chapbook Award. Previous publications include Only So Far (Main Street Rag, 2019), No Constant Hues (Turnstone Books of Oregon, 2015), and Green November (Traprock Books, 2007). The Salem Poetry Project continues at the Bush Barn Annex, 600 Mission St SE, Salem. Parking for the Bush Barn and Bush House is located off of High Street and the Annex entrance is just to the left of the main entrance. Each week will present a featured reader followed by the Infamous Open Mic: 3 poems or five minutes whichever is first. Featured reader begins at 7:00 and the open mic will directly follow.
