Open Sparring Event & Cross Training

We'll have a friendly light contact sparring event this Saturday. The event will take place in Twila Reid Park, in the southernmost section of the park. Please wear shoes because, while the grass is usually nice, we obviously can't control the debris that falls from the trees. Please bring sparring equipment. Whatever level of protection you need is absolutely fine, just keep in mind that your choices should also protect your sparring partner. If you don't feel like sparring that's absolutely fine, you can come and hang out, or cross train with other members. I will be bringing mats for those who wish to explore the grappling arts. If you're there early, or just curious, at 1:30pm there is a Uechi-Ryu class. This class is usually offered for free so don't feel bad about dropping in.
