Monthly Social Meeting for Makers, Tinkerers, Crafters and Creatives Come join us for this monthly gathering to discuss projects where you learned something. This is a free event for anyone interested in being surrounded by Makers, Tinkerers, Crafters, Creatives and More. This meet is intended to be low-pressure and beginner-friendly. Whether you’re a seasoned maker or are just curious, you’ll find a space to connect with others who enjoy making and being creative. Feel free to arrive as early as 6:30pm. Someone will be at the door to let you in until 7pm. After that, knock on the door or ring the doorbell, then we'll let you in. There is no set agenda, so feel free to walk in and get to know other local makers. We also invite people to bring, share or discuss interesting projects they've seen or are working on. It can be anything from crochet to circuit boards. We'll have tables available for you to set it out for display. Share your highlights and lessons, and get the chance to ask for advice. We want to hear all the technical details and share a laugh over the silly mistakes. Attendees are welcome to simply socialize and participate in stimulating conversations with other Makers. This is a trial series of meetings for our little community. Attendance is important to let us know whether you like the location and time. We want to know if you're interested in these kinds of informal social events in the future. Feel free to make suggestions to the host or drop a comment. This meeting is kindly hosted by our friends from Zero Waste San Diego, a nonprofit with sustainability leadership located in downtown San Diego.
