Kirkland Summer Art Hop Let’s spend an artful afternoon in Kirkland! We’ll meet outside of the Ryan James Fine Arts Gallery https://www.ryanjamesfinearts.com at Kirkland Urban before going in to discover a hidden gem on the east side and one the best galleries in the US (2025 American Art Awards). Next, we’ll walk across Peter Kirk Park and over to Parklane Gallery https://parklanegallery.org which features contemporary pieces from more than 40 resident NW artists. If you’re interested in starting your own art collection, this gallery offers some great price points for new collectors. Then, finish up at La Petite Galerie https://www.gunnarnordstrom.com. This small gallery features the art of Dr. Seuss and other famous artists, on rotation. If you’re so inclined, end the afternoon at Moss Bay Hall https://thehall.group where you can chat with fellow members and enjoy some of the best pub fare in Kirkland or, if you prefer, explore the waterfront at your leisure. Wear your walking shoes, put on some sunglasses and don’t forget the sunscreen as we savor a PNW summer day in Kirkland! On Sundays, street parking is free for up to 2 hours. You can also park at the library for free and there is 4 hours of free parking (with validation) underground at Kirkland Urban (note: parking here is free after 4:00 pm).
