Grab some mango sago, coconut desserts, ice cream, tea, or another refreshing treat while enjoying a relaxed afternoon of conversation and connection. There is no cover fee, but everyone will purchase their own food or drinks. This gathering is also a casual catch-up for friends who have met through Andy’s board game group, mahjong nights, pickleball group, kickball group, hiking group, and coffee social community. Even when we regularly see one another at games and activities, we do not always have enough time to slow down and genuinely talk. This social gives us an opportunity to catch up, meet people from the other groups, and learn more about one another beyond board games, pickleball, hiking, and our usual activities. We will have conversation games such as *We’re Not Really Strangers* and *Let’s Get Deep* available to help get the discussion started. The conversation may occasionally become thoughtful or mildly spicy, but the goal is not to debate, embarrass anyone, or prove somebody wrong. We want to exchange perspectives, ask thoughtful follow-up questions, and create an environment where people can disagree respectfully while still enjoying their ice cream.
