Experience this 6.2-mile out-and-back trail near Reno, Nevada. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 3 hours to complete. This is a very popular area for horseback riding, mountain biking, and running, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring. The best times to visit this trail are April through November. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash. NOTE: We are meeting the the Galena Creek South Entrance. Not at the Visitor Center parking area.
