Full Moon Jam @ Foster Beach (Edgewater)

meetup for chicago anime hangouts! hope to have conversations about anime, and manga and more. just show up :D some folks will be watching full moon jam performances! they are an a unique outdoor performance event happening that features fire performers and drummers. i will bring a blanket but i would recommend a chair or items as permitting. come say hi to some new folks or catch up with some old friends. The Chicago Full Moon Jam is a non-profit that hosts free-to-the-public, family-friendly fire performer and drummer gatherings, and provides free education on Flow Arts. The Full Moon Jams are a volunteer-run, not-for-profit, free-to-attend performance gathering that takes place once a month throughout the summer between sunset and 10pm. The Jam brings together artists and dancers by providing a space for fire performers and drummers to gather and share their creative gifts on the beautiful shores of Lake Michigan. Set to the percussive beats of local musicians under a full moon, this unique theatrical event is truly a marvel to behold. The FMJ became an official partner of the Chicago Parks District, and are part of the Night Out in the Park series.
