Sweeping Promises are one of the small, DIY bands that I've really been championing since seeing them at Off Broadway a few years ago so I was disappointed when STL wasn't on the tour itinerary for this new album. But luckily, they just announced a mini-tour of independent records stores to celebrate the release of *You Say I Romanticize,* and they'll be playing a free show at Euclid Records. The show is at 6pm so I'll be arriving at Euclid Records by 5:30pm. In terms of sound, I think that they are the perfect distillation of that lo-fi, riot grrrl energy. So come check them out and do a little record shopping at the same time!
